I've used a friend's PPro 1.5 and Encore 1.5, and I always liked them. I'm test driving Vegas 6 and DVDArch 3, and they're both very nice. I seem to have been able to get up to speed on the very basic tasks easier in Vegas that I can recall in PPro, although my video is very simplistic at this time.
It's been a while since the 1.5 versions were released...anyone have any insight into Adobe's plans for the 2.0 versions of these two products? Timing, features, cost?
If Adobe has plans to release new versions soon, I'll hold off on purchasing Vegas+DVD so I can test drive those new versions, too.
Thanks!
Gary

Those who know, can't say and those you can say, don't know.
Adobe will NEVER drop any hints as to when the new products are going to be released. But, judging from the time period I am guessing you should see something from Adobe by late summer or early fall.
