avi to mp4

ive been given an order to convert 2 mins of video to mp4. i currently have it in avi format. Any ideas as to which software could do the trick?

they want to upload the file onto their web site

i've downloaded the mp4u but nowhere can i see an option for selecting an avi file and converting it to mp4

any thoughts?

You have to select "new/open", select a name for the mp4, and mp4ui will meke the mp4 container, after this you can import the video and the audio.
But listen carefully! mp4ui is really bugged, with imported avi it make scrambled file, you should use Yamb, it's really good for this operation.
