Ok here goes.... I have 2 vob files which contain the whole movie which I want to convers to dvd. However, when I strip then to elementary M2v and mpa streams, then try to encode them the whole movie does not encode. When I watch the 2 vob files by themselves it looks like the picture was joined from at least 4 individual parts (saw about matrix 4 dejavu scenes). How do I encode this??

try add the vobs or m2v in tmpgenc dvd author and author. no need to encode if they are dvd compatible.

Yes I figure that would work but I want to try to improve the quality on it.

Reencoding will probably just make it worse.
