Hello all,
Recently obtained an ATI All-In-Wonder 8500DV card and I'm trying the TV captures but am only able to get mono sound (sound out of right-side speaker only). Is this the design of the card? Or am I doing something wrong here?
I have an internal audio cable from the ATI board to my sound card's AUX connector; I have tried stations that I know to be broadcasting in stereo; I have verified that other audio events are playing in stereo (MP3's, video files, etc); it is just the TV tuner portion which has this problem.
Any ideas or maybe a forum that would be more appropriate?
Thanks.

Speakers may be bad, wires may be bad, connections may be bad, source may actually be mono.
The cards are stereo.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

Pretty sure the card is good. I know the speakers are good. Tried a different connector... same result. Guess it could be the connection port on the sound card...
When I use the multi I/O cable thing that came with the card and plug into the line in of the audio card and I have sound out of both speakers, but I can't get that with an internal connection going from card to card.
Guess that'll just have to do for now.
