  1. I wanted to take out a screen that played back right after I hit "Play" on the menu using VobBlanker , the unwanted screens & movies were all authored in the menu. I could not find anyplace in VobBlanker to delete or blank that page. It did not even show those pieces of movies since it was authored in the menus of 1st VOB. I used PgcEdit first I deleted the cell and I lost my sound ( pcgedit alters the original eventhough it backs up) pcgedit restore didn't work I had to rip from original again and blank the cell in Pcgedit .
My question is can this be done in VobBlanker?

  2. In my experience the screen that plays back right after the 'Play' button is selected, is normally in a seperate part from the main movie, sometimes in the extras.
I would suggest having another look at the DVD in vobblanker it should be there somewhere.
Check every part/cell individually and preview it until you find it, also checking in the menus
Ive never had a problem finding certain parts, but it can take time.

  3. If you want to delete or blank something, first use the preview to locate it. Right there, you can remove any segment from a VOB with the cut function. Use the top slider and the cell selection menu to find the begining of the video, then click the mark button. Next, find the end and click the end mark button. Select the keep movie radio button and click ok, then process. If what you want to get rid of takes up an entire cell, you can just blank that cell. Preview the VOB and find the cell number. Close the preview and click the cell button, then just blank the right cell. BTW, menus are in VTS_x_0.VOB.

  4. I searched everywhere it doesn't show, the first VOB is the menu that runs before the movie. It just doesn't show the menu's static picture or movies. e.g how can you preview the main menu screen with the buttons and all, I don't think you can. I searched all the cells and previewed them as you also mentioned. It is not under extra's either, believe I searched every pixel of VobBlanker it just doesn't do it I guess. VobBlanker is beautiful I hope they add that to it (being able to edit the main menu page and take out buttons).

  5. It's there somewhere !

In VOBblankers main window select the first VOB which you say is the menu VOB or any other VOB come to that, then double click on it and a second window will open with a heading of 'Menu of VTS ??' where ?? is the VTS number.
Under the heading of 'Language Units' click on one of the languages and below it will appear the 'Menu PGCs'.
Double click on each PGC and the 'Cell list' will open up, double click on each cell and a preview window will open and at the top of the window is a slider - drag it from left to right to preview the cell, you should find the menu screens there.
If you want to edit the menu buttons you can do so with PGC edit.

I do this for my DVD backups and keep a functioning menu with an active 'Play Movie' button only.

Keep at it and you will suss it, keep practising and double click on everything you can find until you master it - but it does work

  6. Which version are you using, is there a menu button on the right side?

  7. Yeah there's a 'Menu' button on the right, it does exactly the same thing as explained in my process, just find it quicker to double click each VOB.

  8. I do it right, for main and extra's click on the bottom either click then preview and use page # then slider for main menu double click select cell then preview. I am on the latest version.
As I said I did it with PcgEdit but I wish VobBlanker could do it.
