I'm burning DVDs to Sony media with 100% success, but I have a couple of disks that appear to have very small defects on the extreme outer edge of the disk.
Are those OK to use (particularly if my DVD does not consume the entire 4.3 GB)?

The best answer is to burn and see specially if they are a few, the rest is mostly speculation.
