I used Adobe Premiere to capture video from my camcorder into Microsoft DV format, and then successfully converted the avi file to MPEG 2 using TMPGEnc. However, if I edited the avi file in Premiere and exported to the same Microsoft DV format (no choice, have to export after editing). TMPGEnc complained that the format is not supported. I tried Virtual Dub as well, and it complained about the "dvsd" decompressor could not be located.
My goal is to get SVCD from DV. Can somebody please help.
