  1. Hey, i got this Svcd2Dvd software a couple of weeks ago and since then i have tried to convert many vcds and svcds to dvd and none have worked so far. I am using SVCD2DVD 2.0 RC8. I think i am doing everything correct. But everytime i make a movie it will play for a while, whether it be 30seconds, 10minutes or 1hour, but sooner or later they all cut off. Why is it? Someone told me to leave more detail as to what i am doing, so here it goes:

    -I add assets
    -Extract Mpgs
    -Then I click quick dvd
    -it goes through the mulitplexing, remultiplexing and sampling audio

    As far as the process settings are concerned, I have chosen:

    -Standard/Fullscreen/Widescreen Setting
    -Convert Pal to NTSC
    -Keep Source if AC3
    -Merge Title Set

    Someone please let me know what I am doing wrong or suggestions?

    Well. First i would try the latest version: RC9b. If that still gives you issues then you can email me your log file.

    Does the cut off happen when you play the dvd on the PC or your Player or both. What is your DVD player?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
    VOB2MPG PRO, Extract mpegs from your DVDs - with you in control!
