IMO the easiest/simplest way is to use EazyVCD - all you need to do is select each episode in turn (they will show up as separate titles) and then set your options, and it will handle the rest, outputting a VCD-compliant MPEG at the end.

... or if you want to do something different than VCD, just use smartripper in Movie Mode or DVDDecrypter in IFO Mode.
    If in doubt, Google it.

All eps won't fit on a VCD unless your eps are only a total of 80 minutes in length or less, or you do XVCD, in which case you'd be taking a serious quality hit IMO to fit any more than 80 minutes on. Or you could dump maybe 4 x 22 minute episodes on a Data CD as DivX or XviD.

I've got a DivX and XviD capable settop DVD player, and I use a batch file to rip all episodes to my HDD using DVDDecrypter in commandline mode. I then use autogk's batch function to set all the eps up, then leave it overnight to encode them all for me. Works really well with TV show season sets and stuff like that.

    Here's a sample batch file:
    Code:
    "c:\program files\dvd decrypter\dvddecrypter.exe" /MODE IFO /SRC F: /DEST "D:\RIPPED\Episode 1\" /VTS 1 /PGC 1 /SPLIT NONE /START /CLOSE
    "c:\program files\dvd decrypter\dvddecrypter.exe" /MODE IFO /SRC F: /DEST "D:\RIPPED\Episdoe 2\" /VTS 1 /PGC 2 /SPLIT NONE /START /CLOSE
    "c:\program files\dvd decrypter\dvddecrypter.exe" /MODE IFO /SRC F: /DEST "D:\RIPPED\Episode 3\" /VTS 1 /PGC 3 /SPLIT NONE /START /CLOSE
    "c:\program files\dvd decrypter\dvddecrypter.exe" /MODE IFO /SRC F: /DEST "D:\RIPPED\Episode 4\" /VTS 1 /PGC 4 /SPLIT NONE /START /CLOSE
This assumes that all episodes are in VTS_1, and are PGCs 1-4. I use IFOEdit to check that this is so.
    If in doubt, Google it.
