Is it possible to use I-Author to create an SVCD with advanced format menus and then use Nero 5.5 to burn the created image into a CD? I thought I could use a program like CDmage to convert I-Author's output to BIN and then burn that using Nero 5.5, but a guy on CDmage's forum said that the resulting CD would not complie with SVCD standards. I haven't tried this yet, but does anyone know if can be done and how to do it?

Hi, I've been doing what you are talking about a lot lately. I author my SVCD in Iauthor and then convert the .cif image it creates using CDmage into a .bin file and burn with CDRwin. Now, I don't think Nero can handle .bin files. It uses a proprietary image file. I get fantastic results.
