Is there a way to change my dvd burner icon names under my computer, from DVD-RW(F:) & DVD/CD-RW(E:) to say Benq(F:) and HP(E:)? When right clicking the icon there is no option to rename.

Not AFAIK. Because they don't contain a 'permanent' volume, you can't set the name in the fashion you would like. The way I've always done it is assign the drive letters based on the placement of my drives in my tower - so I make the top one E:, and the bottom one F:. Makes it easy for me to remember which is which
    If in doubt, Google it.

Have you used Fresh UI before.

Does it run in back ground?

Once I make the changes to my computer, can I unistall program, or does it have to be installed inorder for changes to stay?

I would expect you could accomplish the same by finding the registry key that contains the drive name and change it there,
