I just purchased a new laptop, it has XP Pro SP2.
My desktop has XP Pro SP1. What I would like to know is, can I copy the Movie Maker v2.1 files from my laptop, to my desktop (over writing the Movie Maker v2.0 files)?
I have installed SP2 on my desktop but, for some reason it caused too many problems and I had to revert back to SP1.
Will WMM 2.1 work with SP1?

Possibly. It depends on what you are copying. WMM2.1 would probably have to be installed. Just copying the files probably won't work. You would likely have to find the separate program, with the installer, and run that on the SP1 computer.
AFAIK, it is integrated into SP2 and not available as a separate program.
