does anyone know how to edit multiple files at once.

like set it going then it will run over night.

i have a few hundred videos i would like to edit commercials out of.

and doing it by hand takes forever.

    thanks for any help.

If you're dealing with AVIs as source, then https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=643&howtoselect=5;23#643 might assist. basically you do your edits in virtualdubmod, then you save these edits to your AVISynth script. You set up all your edits across all your files individually, then when you're ready to roll, set up each one and add it to the batch encoding facility in your favorite encoder. This can then run through each script in the order in which you've set them up to run.
    If in doubt, Google it.
