Designing a LAN

Ok folks, I hope someone here can help me.
I have an assigment for a Telecom class and wondered if I can get help in the right direction.

I need to design a LAN:
3 buildings
30 computers each, (90 total)
1 server for database
1 server to host the website
speed and security are priority
all computers must have access to the Internet

Need to know:
-What is the network operating system?Why?
-What are the topology(s)? Why?
-What are the equipments and media types? Why?
-What are the protocol(s)? Why?
-What change(s) need be made in Office 101? Give your reasons.
-What is the estimated and itemized cost for this network? Justify your budget.
-What are the top five issues that affected your decision making? Briefly discuss them.

Sounds like you should start out with what you think it should be and then let us pick it apart. We're not a free homework site here

Yeah, do your own homework. Besides, that's a fairly easy assignment. Like Rally said, once you're done, post your design and we'll take a look. Hint - Draw It Out.

I say go with RAID5, preferably SATA.
