Not that you necessarily have to DO this to your wireless router, but the forums (like the ones here at Videohelp.com) provide lots of good info for troubleshooting wireless issues.
I must admit, some of the 3rd party bios features sound tasty, like increasing signal strength 400% and better port forwarding capabilities.

I can see how it would be possible. They may cap the normal signal strength either for greater reliability, less interference or merely to sell more access points / range extenders.
Just a thought.Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
