I recently started ripping DVDs to xvid using the DVDto AVI guide at rita.lt (http://www.rita.lt/guides/GKnot_DVDtoAVI.htm). Everything has worked great on my first 3 rips.
This time, though, I want to have subtitles available. I followed the guide up to the first yellow section on subtitles (yes, I made sure that I selected the subtitles I wanted in DVD Decryptor). I go to the Subtitle/Chapter tab and click on "Configure," choose Open, select the .IFO file, choose where I want the subtitles saved, and then it returns me to the screen I was at after hitting configure and before Open. It never brings up the screen showing the subtitles, as in the 3rd screenshot in the first yellow subitle section on the guide.
I've tried re-ripping the files from DVD 2 or 3 times, using various audio, and different combinations of which subtitles to include and it doesn't work.
The only way I can get that screen to show up is if I choose the IFO directly off of the DVD rather than the IFO ripped by DVD Decrypter.
Is that how it is supposed to work?
Thanks!
