first i gotta say i love the program.
is there a way to adjust the overall transparency of button highlights so they "tint" the menu instead of covering over it completely? gui for dvdauthor seems to allow it: https://www.videohelp.com/~gfd/GUI_DVDauthor_01Pic/DefSettings8b.png (see the "default highlight properties").
thanks!

Yes, you may just move the transparency slider to any value between 0 (full opaque) and 99 (total transparent). This can be done in the default settings BEFORE you add any element (movie, button, picture...) or for each menu individually with a right click on the menu background. The values in the default settings will be applied to all 'future' menus (either added manually with 'Add menu' or automatically (adding a movie with 'Use Titlesets=on). GFD remembers the last used settings (saved in the registry) but you may use your own 'presets' if you save them as 'empty' projects.is there a way to adjust the overall transparency of button highlightsGUI for dvdauthor:

I'm not sure if you were referring to my gui or not, but currently, there isn't a way to adjust the transparency. That may change gown the road though.
