I have an LGR435 which is a cool little machine except for one glaring problem. It will not accept a full two hour recording, in either +rw or -rw.
Sure, the setup tells you that you have 122/124 minutes of disc space, but the end result always barely exceeds 1 hr 57 in + or 1hr 54 in - mode. This is not VBR related, as far as I can tell, since every recording I have done in +rw is five minutes shie of the setup time, no matter how little fast action there is in the movie. Does anyone have any comments on this or other LG models that manifest the same issue? It is a major sore point, since this is one of the few models that records in stereo off the tuner, which is my main reason for buying it.
