  2. So 30 min=80 MB. That means 120 min=240MB!

    And you want high quality?

I don't think the quality to achieve that kind of compression would be worth watching. Sorry but I can't offer any solution to get those results.

  4. If you want bitrates that low you'll want to make KVCD mpeg files:

    pfh,
To offer up a simple explanation, ala hayabusa, you want 80Mb (bytes) and it to fit in 30 minutes.
By simple math that would require a video rate (video + audio) of 2.67 Mb/min.

IMHO the lowest video quality would be the VCD standard and yes it can offer a fair degree of quality. But quality is in the eye of the beholder.
The VCD standard is 1150 Kbits/sec + 224 Kbits/sec for audio. That would make for 1374Kbits/sec encoding rate.
Now to convert units 1374 Kbits/sec = 10.305 Mb/min for the lowest quality video recording with MPEG 1 standard.
You are asking for a rate that is about 1/4 of the minimum. Thus, I do not think you will get the quality that you desire.
However, there are some encoding templates that do offer exceptional quality for very low encoding rates such as those mentioned by junkmalle.

    Good luck.

  6. If you want to host your files only the better solution would be to encode to a streamable format such asf wmv9 or real Video 10
