    I found out that I can capture video onto my hard drive with my Iomega Super DVD QuikTouch, however, it is in VOB format. Anyone know how I can convert this into MPG format? Thanks.

  2. Use AVICodec to see if the audio is MP2,if so you can simply rename the extension to .MPG
    If the audio is AC3 use VOBEdit to demux and AC3Tool to convert AC3 to WAV,then use TMPGEnc to convert to MPG.
    BTW...most authoring programs accept VOB's,no need to convert.
