I am having problems with Adobe Encore DVD 1.5 and its importing subtitles feature. I've made sure the srt subtitles are synchronized with the movie, then converted them to a compatible format using Subtitle Workshop. The problem is that the subtitles are synchronized when the movie starts, but after 20 minutes there is a very noticeable one second difference in the synchronization. This seems to happen gradually, so it only gets worse.
I compared the beginning/end times of two subtitles (at 10 and 20 minutes) between the text file that Subtitle Workshop generates, and what is shown inside the Adobe Encore timeline.
Txt file:
00:10:05:05 00:10:06:10 You understand?
Timeline:
00;10;05;23 00;10;06;28 You understand?
At 30 frames per second, that 18 frame difference is about half a second.
Txt file:
00:20:09:05 00:20:11:05 Come now, keep it down...
Timeline:
00;20;10;11 00;20;12;11 Come now, keep it down...
And that's about a full second.
Has anyone had this problem with Adobe Encore DVD 1.5 and know how to fix it without manually going through each and every subtitle?

Nevermind, I found the solution. I had to change all the colons into semicolons before importing the txt file.
