Can we make a DVD image from a DVD folder? Or, can we create a virtual dvd only assigning a hd folder to it, I mean without the condition to create any dvd image? The subst command creates a virtual disk/hd drive, not a dvd virtual drive.

If you have DVD Shrink on your machine, load the DVD up, then save it out as an ISO.

After you create an ISO use daemon tools to mout it in vurtual drive. Whitout iso it will not work.
If you only want to test the playback (menues and stuff) drag and drop the video_ts folder in Media Player Classic.
