  1. To play MPEG-2 with Windows Media Player I know that you need a software DVD Player pre installed. Is it possible to create an autorun CD that first installs the DVD player?

I have no problem creating mpeg-1 autorun CD's

Do any of you guys have a solution?

    Thanks!

Honestly... that sounds like a bad idea...
Autorunning a installprogram isn't a good idea, it's annoying and if you've installed it you get very irritated if it comes again...

Just add the MPEG2 codec from the "Tools" section on this site on the cd... And burn it along with the CD, without autorunning it...

  3. Thanks Geezus, I have tried to do include the mpeg-2 codec with the autorun CD but it does not install.

    What instructions do you write?

I'm not sure what you mean but what I meant was to skip the autoinstall and just run the movie...

Just put the install file on the cd and let people who need it install it themselves. You could print on the cd "Codec Included" or something like that...

If people insert the cd, get WMP up and gets a codec error they should be able to guess that they should install the codec...
