  1. i stopped using internet explorer a while back...and started using Mozilla's FireFox. I like this because i dont get adaware or spyware or any garbage that microsoft sends me.

    lol

anyways...i have found that somesites, and emails that i get, ex. via eBay through hotmail, the links dont work, or i dont see the site the way it was intended.
are there browsers out there that are as protective as FireFox, but still allow me to acess the functions that i need....

    thanks ahead of time

As Baldrick says, some sites are specifically designed for IE only. Hence, they wont work well with other browsers including netscape, opera etc...

get the "view this page in IE" Extension for firefox

it lets you right click a page and you get the option to view the page using IE

    very handy

lots of other cool extensions for firefox as well

Firefox is pretty much compatible with all the sites I visit. Most more so than IE.

I know how you feel. I have been thinkning switching back to IE but, there are many good features and downfalls in both of the programs.

I don't know which sites you guys visit that makes it such a large problem. I have found a few that look a bit strange, but haven't yet come across one that didn't work with FF.
