wow, only 14 views and 5 are probably mine
. I guess nobody is interested in the World Cup Qualifiers these days
anyway I watched most of the England match last night and it was just one of those games where it could have been 10-0 but wasn't. Unlucky for Northern Ireland and also Wales, both conceding goals in the last 5 minutes! -
I saw England put the whoopin' on the Boys from Baku.
It lacked excitement. -

Hi Kevin
it was Football. I personally don't know what SOCKAR is
you have quite a few sporting World Cup's if you look around
Alpine Ski
Dubai
Rugby
Cricket
Paragliding
Tiddleywinks (although this doesn't seem to have qualifiers)
I guess there's more than just Basketball, American 'Rugby' and Baseball around the world

personally i follow football closely but the qualifiers are somewhat boring can't wait for the world cup though! for those who don't know its in germany summer of '06. the last european cup was in portugal (my hometown) in the summer of '04.
With the exception of the olympics (maybe) the world cup is probably the best sporting event in the world where nations from all over compete.
unlike the world series of baseball where you have only american teams competing. i wonder what would happen if the japanese teams and cuban teams competed in the "world series" of baseball -

I don't think the qualifiers are exciting until the final stages when it's all or nothing to get to the Finals -
