Firstly if this is in the wrong Forum, let me say,SORRY.

Ok Guys here's my Problem.

I just picked up a copy of Close Encounters OF The Third Kind Region 2 Pal DVD 2 Disc's Brand New,( cheap let me add ).

Although Disc 1 which contains the special widescreen edition with some of the deleted scene's added back into the film, there are still 11 deleted scene's on disk 2 that where not put into the film, (including the inside the Mothership scene at the end of the film) which i find very annoying since it was included in the special edition on VHS.

Now what i want to do is, rip the deleted scenes from disc 2 convert them then add them (and i do know where in the film they have to be added)to the film which i will have to rip also from Disc 1 to make the Ultimate Widescreen Edition and then burn that to 2 99 minute's CDR's as either a xVCD or SVCD.

I know that i could make SBC divx version of the film with all the deleted scenes added and use virtual dub to resize to make that when it come's to adding them they all go together without any audio sync problems, but that would mean having to convert the film twice, once using NanDub/Virtual DUb and then using Tmpegnc.

So what i want to know is is it possilble to use TMPEGnc to resize the film and the deleted scenes to all the same size (keeping in mind that the deleted scenes on disk 2 at at a smaller resolution tham the actuall film itself) so that when there all finally encoded they will all be the same size resolution.

Or will i have make the Divx first and then encode using TMPEGnc.

Any help would be most welcomed

Thanks in advance
