  1. Hi everyone,

I'm having some trouble importing video into Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. I am using a Panasonic VDR-M50 to record the video, then it exports the video to my hard drive as an MPEG-2 file. When I try to import it into Adobe, it either freezes, or gives me an error message. From the research I've done, it looks like I need to change the file to an AVI or something like that, can anyone give me some tips on what program to use to convert the files (or any other advice...)?

    Thanks
    MH
