There are several downloads available on movielink that are not DVD releases, but seem to be from a special contract with the actual studio. Has anyone figured out how to convert the .wmv download file to a usable dvd mpeg for backup? Id like to get these special features archived, since this is the only place that has these titles available.

I'm not familiar with that, however, if they are in .wmv format, most likely they are also encoded with drm. If they are, then you are out of luck.
