    Oh balls

Do you know how I can rip the WMAudioV2 audio from the file then and then convert it to a file that ffmpeg will open?

I have tried opening it with ffmpeg but to no avail

It seems odd because I keep reading that ffmpeg has WMA? support (does this refer to specifically WMA stream but not if they are muxed with wmv?), it is an area that has me stumped

I am determined to get this done by this evening and have been Googling like a man possessed! lol

  4. LOL

    I LOVE THIS GAME LOL

Right, in line with the 'if you have an idea..try it, it may work' track of thought I did the following to get the audio stream from the wmv file

I opened Tmpgenc ignored the wizard and instead used the 'browse audio' button in the bottom left

I selected my wma file and changed the file extension to mp2, clicked 'audio only' and then clicked start

    IT WORKED!

I know feel like king shit, ahem lol

I am know going to mulitplex the file and grab the popcorn etc lol

ffmpeg works fine with wmv files here. What is the date of your ffmpeg build? Running a build from 2005.03.27 here.

Hi there, the ffmpeg build I am using was downloaded yesterday from the direct link via the Tools section here, the link opened the download without me having to choose a version or suchlike so I presume that is the latest version?

Oh, I have also tried the nice new 'drag and drop' batch version of ffmpeg to and it too doesnt allow me to open these files

The files I am trying to open are according to G-Spot ASF (WMV/WMA) comprised of WMV2 video and WMAudioV2

No matter what I choose as the file type in ffmpeg (all video, all audio etc) I get no dice
