  1. I am trying to convert a video, in .wmv format, to vcd. The aspect ratio of the video did not convert very well, so there was a very bad result from the attempted conversion. Does anyone know how to take an internet video, or even a streaming video, and convert it to vcd so i can watch it on a stand alone dvd player?

I don't care if the resulting video is very small in the middle of the tv screen. I just want it where it's clear to see.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure you checked the 'Convert' to the left for WMV to VCD conversion. <<<

What program are you using to convert the video and what steps and settings are you using?

VSO DivxtoDVD might be worth a try, although it can get touchy if the stream has errors in it.

  4. Well, I don't think Divxtodvd will make VCD files. Maybe better is to use TMPG.
