Now I am in possession of the Sharp HR350F recorder and I want to share my experience with the interested reader.
First of all, and this is a slight drawback, it works only with the dash-format. In fact the choice in virgin DVD disk brands is quite limited for this format.
You can edit the scenes image by image which is something I was looking for.
Handling is a bit tricky in the beginning and the manual, well, it is even trickier. It takes some time to understand the working logic of this recorder.
Images and sound is very good on hard disk. One thing I nevertheless noticed is that when having transfered the file to disk (which takes quite a long time if you do not choose the fast transfer mode): sometimes the image is stopping for a 1/x of a secord (very short indeed, hardly to notice but it happens).
