  1. Hi guys, I have the Philips DVP642 and it's been working great, however, when I burnt a couple of SKVCD files as data onto a DVD-r and tried to play it on the DVP642, I was only able to see the video (in very clear quality) I was unable to hear the audio.

I have th Philips DVP642/17 with firmware version 0531, I've done some reading on this great forum and some searchings on the web to find a solution but to no avail, so I decided to ask for help here .

I wanted to ask how to fix this problem and if upgrading to the new firmware would solve the audio issue.

    Thank you
