Liteon 5005 & Divx

I have a 5005 and while I was looking for updated firmware I saw on the liteon site that this recorder can play DivX movies.

But when I tried one and it didn't play.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get them to play?

Where did you see that? I cant find anywhare that it says that it could,only that it cant.

Thats strange.Every other place I find says it cant...Anyway, How did you burn the Divx to Disc?They all fall into the specs on the FAQ page?

If you look carefully at that page you'll see that it's for the "pure players" (ie, 2001, 2002) not the "recordable players" like the 5005.
