I was videotaping interviews at a wedding reception and for some reason, even though I could hear sound coming through my wireless mic, the sound did not get recorded on my camcorder. However, I did get audio on my camcorder from the onboard mic but it is rather low. Is there anyway to pump up the sound on the audio clip in Premiere Pro and kill the background noise. I know on some regular audio mixers this is possible. If I can do this, I think I might be okay. If not, does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks for any help you can offer!

what I would do is go ahead and load the file up in premiere, then export the sound track to .wav. There are several free audio programs that will allow you to do noise reduction/amplification to the audio track and those names i'm sure will come pouring in shortly. Or you could browse the audio section and get them right away.
Anyways..after you've touched up the audio, save it and import it back into your premiere session, removing the original audio track.
if theres an easier way then i'm sure it will be relayed to you shortly..
just wanted to let you know it's possible and not a problem at all.
