A friend has a LifeView PAL B/G capture card. P/N on card is 703150533. It also has LR50 Rev:Q
The RF IN on the Tuner module is some sort of mini female connector. It is push on, not screw on, and is 6mm wide and sits about 10mm back from the back plate. An adaptor, which has been lost, fits it to change it to a normal TV aerial size plug.

Anyone know what this mini RF IN size is called ?
It will make it easier try to find an adaptor if we know what it's called.

sorry, no pic at the moment.
    Thanks

thanks Reboot but that's the size we are trying to get to.That's what the end of our aerial lead plugs into.

The socket on the module is only half that size. If you could imagine the connector in your pic unplugging from the tuner module leaving a smaller connector visible.
It almost resembles a small RCA female.

It's essentially a 6mm stud with a small hole in the centre for the adaptor male pin to plug into.

There are a lot of RF type connectors. Here's a couple of sites with specs on the more common ones.

    http://www.wa1mba.org/rfconn.htm

    http://users.erols.com/rfc/index1.htm

If you can take exact measurements, you might be able to figure it out. Or go to Google and search for 'RF connectors' and you will get quite a few sites.

If all else fails, you could probably take the thing apart or modify it to accept a more common connector. Most of the odd RF connectors may be hard to find locally, even if you can identify them.

  7. That looks like a standard RCA type connector, identical to the yellow one next to it (s-vid).
I'd take the card to the local Radio Shack, Best Buy or whatever. I'm sure one of them will have something.
Last resort, contact LifeView for a replacement.
I've never seen that type of RF in connector.

Hi all. I am the owner of this card, thanks to Scott for putting me onto this site.
I think I have found a solution to the problem. I have an RF male/male joiner, the centre pin fits perfectly into the hole on the card, the outer sleeve has about a 1-2mm gap all-round. All I need to do is cut some slits in the sleeve longways so it can be pushed in to mate with the outer of the connector on the card, then to help it stay I can solder the parts together. Then I just need some cable and a splitter to run to the room my pc is in so I can get TV on the PC, and not have to fight to watch what I want when no one else agrees.
