  1. Hi all,
the issue is simple. I am making a DVD with a couple of personal movies. I have chapters in each movie. What I want to achieve is "force" the DVD to pass by the root menu when I fast forward from the last chapter of movie 1 to the first chapter of movie 2. Now, the DVD go right to the second movie even if my end link is set (in the connections tab) at the root.

    Please help!

  2. Wait...you say, "I want to...force the dvd to pass by the root...and go from movie 1 directly to movie 2..."
Then in your next phrase, you say the dvd does exactly that.
I need a little clarification please.

  3. Can you post a screenshot of your Connections page?

  4. Maybe I was not clear. Let me try again.

When I play the last chapter of movie 1, at the end, instead of going back to the root menu, it starts directly chapter one of movie 2. I want to "break" the playing sequence to clearly show (by going back to the root menu) that this movie is ended.

I will try to attach a snapshot of the connection tab. Thanks for your help!

Click on Movie 1, change the END-LINK to go to the ROOT menu.

  6. You can't fast forward and jump between pgc's.

Instead, can you combine all the movies into one and use a movie branch to play individual chapters. Thus fast-fwd will jump you to the next "movie chapter" without going through the root menu.

  7. I did some more testing. Without changing anything to my initial set-up, if I let the movie 1 end, it will go by itself back to the root menu. The DVD will only skip to movie 2 if I press fast forward.

So my set-up works, but only if I do not fast forward. That is what I want to fix.

PS: making only one big movie, I guess I could do it, but this appears to me to be a big patch on a relatively easy problem....

  8. Put a chapter point at the end of each movie.
Link movie 1 to movie 2, movie 2 to movie 3, etc.

How do you do this? I have DVD Lab Pro, and a similar connections screen. I would like to have just one "movie", with multiple chapters. Instead, I have 10 different movies, with no chapters.

    Thanks

  10. I just told you.
Put a chapter mark at the end of each movie.
    Create a chapter menu.
Link each movie to the next manually.
