Hi.
I have 2 MPEG-2 video clips, which hold the same movie, but they come from a different source (one from DVB-S and one from DVD). As a consequence, the HSV values (colors) of both clips are different. Unfortunalely I have only the first pasrt op the DVB-S clip (1) and the last part of the DVD clip (2). Hence I would like to join both clips.
If I take the same scene, how can I detect which HSV value is used by clip 1 and adjust the HSV values of clip 2 (using VirtualDub) accordingly?
Many thanks.

Was the question not clear (shall I rephrase?), or is there no solution to this, except trial-and-error?
Thanks. -
well in this case the eye is a pretty powerful tool if you dont have a program for color correction

I have used a Histogram filter in the past to see what the individual color levels are. Also the Red/Green/Blue(1.0) filter to adjust the colors individually.
Sometimes also the HSV for rough adjustment. I think there may be some other Histogram filters that would work, possibly better. VD has a lot of filters available. Try a Google search for 'Virtualdub filters'.
