Problem with AVISynth and Weave

For some reason, weave always crashes my AVISynth script. Here is the code:

AVISource("test.avi")
AssumeFieldBased()
separatefields()
weave()

If I remove the weave, it at least loads but with it in it crashes Vdub, TMPGenc, or anything else I try. What could be the problem? I am using version 2.5 of AVISynth.

I found the problem, although I don't know the reason. The crash happens with 2.5.6 beta but the weave works fine with 2.5.5. Maybe something to be fixed in the final release.
