  1. Hey everyone,

Just got a brand new DELL computer that came with a NEC 3450A. I burned some discs and they weren't playing right in my players. Turns out I had crap Memorex DVD's. I burned the disc on to a much better quality TDK I had and it worked fine.

Now I want to print on Printable's to use with my Epson 320.

I went to SuperMediaStore.com after doing some research on the net and ordered one spindle of 50 of each of the following. Since I'm still new I am curious as to what you guys know about this media and if indeed it is good.

Ritek Ridata 8X DVD+R DVD02X0076-050, Media White Inkjet, Printable 50 pack

Taiyo Yuden White Inkjet DVD02X0100-050, Printable 8X DVD+R Media
    50 pack

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

Well how's about clicking on "DVD Media" to the left and do a search for yourself. Then do some burning yourself. Your media, equipment and software will in the end be your best judge.

OK, maybe I didn't ask it the way I meant to cause I have done so much reading on this subject the past two days, maybe even too much.

I was just trying to make sure the DVD's I bought were in the top of the line DVD Media category and not in the landfill category like my last batch.

The media you bought is good in my own experience. I have used both. Wether it becomes landfill depends on your DVD Writer and your burning software. Top of the line? Are we comparing cars, motor boats or media. There is good media (that which works 100% of the time) and crap media (that fails during burning or freezes while playing on your DVD player).

Thanks, I think I was just in overload of too much information I think and was scared I Bought dvd's that won't last till next year.

I have the NEC3450A and so far have been using Sonic MyDVD! So far I really like the DVD Burner and the Sonic MyDVD seems to be a nice program as well... I can't wait to actually get the media to test it out with the printables.

The TDK's I have that are nor printable, seem to be working great as well even tho the dvd's are listed in the second class media.

Incase you don't know what I am talking about, I'm talking about the FAQ on this page:

  9. I've burned 328 Memorex DVD's without a single failure. They play on every player and game system I tested. My NEC loves these discs and always has.
