    Hi all. I've noticed some of the newer av amps now are sporting tbc's in the specs in the upconversion path. Anyone heard anything about the quality of these and wether or not they're full frame?

    These are low volume units so they would typically use chips designed for set top box or DVD player.

    People use the term "TBC" far too often. The term "TBC" can be interpreted in several ways, many of them borderline lies.

    Cant see any more info other than the claim itself. Another amp i'm interested in also said to have a tbc in specs is
