I have two fairly large hard drives on my Video PC other than my OS drive.
One is an 80GB the other is 120GB.
I currently use the 120GB drive to capture, but am I wasting the storeage space by not using the 80GB drive instead?
Just after an opinion.
using the Canopus capture 13GB per hour.
Thanks.

Well, I suppose it depends on how many hours of video you want to keep in captured format at any given time. With hard drive space and video, quit often bigger is better. Personally, I'd keep the bigger drive as the capture drive. I'm lazy and don't always convert things right away.

Transfer the files you aren't going to use right away to the Primary drive. I have 4 drives in my system and do this all the time. The extra space on the capture drive will come in handy when you least expect it...
