    sudenly my computer is having another DVD drive icon and i don't know where it came from. how can i remove it. i have a DVD Drive and CD-RW dRIVE. AND THE SELF CREATED NEW DVD drive

    Have you installed any image drive software like Daemon Tools, Nero Image Drive, Alcohol, Clone CD/DVD Etc.? I'd say it's probably a virtual drive of some sort.

    If you have no extra dvd drive, then it is definitely a virtual drive.
