I have several dvds that the kids have scratched and they sometimes lock up the dvd player. Is there any program out there that will clean up these disks so that I can then make a DVD-R copy? Someone told me to look for a program called DVD ReBuilder, but I don't think thats what I am looking for.
Thanks!

You can rip with DVD Decrypter, and if it comes up with read errors you can turn on the option of 'ignore read errors'. I'd try 'fixing' the discs as best you can first, though. Get a disc doctor or polish with toothpaste, etc. Do a search for suggestions on fixing damaged discs. Then try Decrypter. Then try ISOBuster. Lastly, if those two fail, try Decrypter, outputing as an ISO image and selecting 'ignore read errors'. You may have some occasional stuttering in the video, but you'll be able to copy the disc this way nonetheless.
