Hi I have recently tried to copy the bbc series the Office,twice now both time after the very long encoding process the burn itself failed,is it to big its a very big file size I think even after re-authouring it it only gets down to like 55% is that to big to burn successfully any help or ideas would be great cheers![]()

Hi I have a Benq single layer dvd writer,I am using shrink and nero 6,I have not had any burn really fail b4 so Im not to sure what to do

I meant what form is the original. Is it a DVD, a DivX, etc.

Oh good god. Yeah, you're not going to have much luck.
Episode discs are a b***h with transcoding. Re-encoding is the only real way, short of just splitting it onto two discs. Try the guides on splitting, because you will NEVER be happy with the transcode, even if you can get it to work - which it seems like you can't. -
So you reackon if I go 2 re-authour and only select say half of the episodes on the disc it should work???also what is the reccomended % you shold not go below when shrinking a duel layer disc onto a single layer cone??thx all
