    Using Tmpgen to make a vcd from my avi
    it always freezes @ the same spot
    ive used virtual dub to change audio to wave
    ive also changed the vfapi settings so directshow is highest
    priority and it still freezes @ the same spot
    Please help this newbie

    Sounds like the source file could be corrupt. Try splitting into two parts to get around the bad part then use MPEG tools in Tppgen to join them back. Probably just a few frames causing the problem.
