Hi

I am very close to buying a DVD recorder. I want it to mainly transfer old videos of my kids onto dvd before the tapes end up snapping. I am leaning towards a Pioneer DVR-520H. What I would like to know is the best way of connecting all my bits and pieces. I have a Sony TV with 3 scart inputs, one of which is RGB. At the moment I connect my sky digital box into the RGB scart, and then the Panasonic video and a Toshiba DVD player into the other 2. I also have a scart between the Sky box and video. I also have on the television front S-Video and composite inputs that I plug my Xbox into. This set up seems to work fine and I especially like that I can set up my video to record programmes on sky and it will automatically turn on the sky box and change to the channel automatically that I want to record. Will the Pioneer DVR-520H be able to do this. The kids still have loads of videos they like to watch so in a way I would like the video to be still connected. Is it possible to set it up so you could record to video and DVD recorder at the same time. Is the Pioneer DVR-520H a good enough dvd player to ditch my Toshiba 220 which I am happy with. Any thoughts and information on my set up and the best way to integrate a dvd recorder into it. Thanks.
