I was going to backup a DVD yesterday.
I place it in the drive and closed, strandest thing, PowerDVD didnt auto start.. ok so i start PowerDVD to see whats up and it said unsuported format or something like that. I took a look at the DVD in Explorer and guess what. No files at all! I see the audio_ts and the video_ts dirs but in them i cant see any files. Ofcourse smartripper couldnt fint anything to rip, nor could DVD2SVCD since there are no files.
So did i get a empty disc? nope, it plays fine in my standalone.

So there must be vobs, but how do i get them of the disc if the comp cand find them?

the DVDdrive in s pioneer 116 and im running win2k if that helps.

    anyone?

  2. maybe the vobs are hidden files....

try going into your explorer options and enabling "viewing hidden files"..you should be able to see more files now..
