Hi craigievar,
No need to join them. Any good DVD authoring tool will take multiple MPEG2s as inputs and then author to VOBs etc. such that they play seamlessly.
TMPGEnc DVD Author is one, and probably DVDLab. Don't know about Nero - try it.
P.S. I was up in Brisbane for the first time a few weeks ago. Well impressed...There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
