I would like to join 2 files, they R both .avi’s. I have read the forums, tried the suggested tips VirtualDub 1.8.5 as well as tried to use my convert X to DVD , DVD Shrink 3.2, & DVD Decrypter. TO no avail. I can burn the movie (which is in 2 parts (CD1 & CD2)) on to a disc but it loses quality, some of the picture is cut off & it stops after the first CD1 reverts to main menu then you gotta play the 2nd 1/2 to watch the movie. Please point me in the right direction.

convertx2dvd works well. make sure to use the latest version and set it up and check "play titles one after the other" in the dvd menus options tab.

DVD flick. Add the first video as a title, then open that title and add the second video. Unlike ConvertXtoDVD, you will get seamless playback this way (ConvertXtoDVD will give you a pause similar to a layer break).
None of the image is getting cut off, but it is being hidden in the overscan area. DVD Flick does have an option to resize down and add borders to cater for this.Read my blog here.
