Pinnacle Studio 9 Special Effects

hey, i have pinnacle studio 9 and want to do some "special effects" with it. i want to have some video clips in reverse - going backwards, and i also would like to know how, and with what programs, to have split screens, video in video, muti split screens and vid in vid, how to have just the background change, like someones going from different places but with the same person that stays in the same spot. i have win. movie maker, and adobe primere also. if anyone knows any good cgi animation software, please tell me. thanks
